Greetings all! For those of you who caught a show in the past few months, somewhere in the northeast US, you know the fun we been having. Halloween at the Stone Lounge was creepy and hilarious, playing Water Street with our friends the Sim Redmond Band with the most awesome crowd of good people, NYS Harvest Festival opening for The Wailers, opening for George Clinton in Poughkeepsie.. the music life.
Coming up this weekend, be sure to get out to Hector to the Stonecat Cafe for some incredible eats followed by Thousands of One beats. This show always packs out so be sure to get in early, show starts at 10pm. Our next Ithaca show is December 5th at the Chapter House, and we will be bringing our good friend Mbusi out to play on a semi-debut status with his new band From the Heart. Word has it, Mbusi has been heard singing the National Anthem before some BIG national league sporting events recently.
In Thousands of One, some tectonic rumbles have indicated that now is the time to begin working on a new record. It's coming from deep under the crust, below the soil, below the rock and beyond what our eyes have ever seen, something that is both a solid and a liquid, both contained and totally chaotic. Catch it as it erupts... sometime in the spring. Until then, we'll be snuggling up to some warm mics and making the best of the frozen days of winter to come.
