Going Home to The Rongo this Saturday Night!

This Saturday, March 12th, we are very excited to play at the Rongovian Embassy in Trumansburg, NY. Be there at 10pm, the one and only MBUSI opens the show.

Back in the winter of 2005, drummer Joel Blizzard hosted a weekly jam session on Wednesday nights at the Rongovian Embassy, known as Steppers Lounge. Al forms of music were welcome, but reggae, funk and hiphop were preferred. Players came and went, though some stayed. Jhakeem came around singing and rhyming. Brent came around and played some funky motown bass. In the years that followed, Jake, Mark, Will and Chad got hooked on Thousands of One and brought passionate worlds of musical collaboration to bare. The sound we know today is the culmination of an intense journey, with much further to go.
